Professor Nagy to Speak at SIUC

Professor Joseph Falaky Nagy of the University of California, Los Angeles will give a talk entitled "What Women (and Poets) Crave in Medieval Irish Tradition" on 7 November 2011 on the SIUC campus.  Professor Nagy is the author of The Wisdom of the Outlaw: The Boyhood Deeds of Finn in Gaelic Narrative Tradition and Conversing with Angels and Ancients: Literary Myths of Medieval Ireland.  The talk will take place in the Missouri Room of the Student Center at 7:00 pm.  It is free and open to the public.
